the birthday gift of a lifetime!

remember back here where I said this......

Then.......
Dan gave me a gift of a lifetime!
A gift to end all gifts.
I can say unequivocally that you do not know anyone who has
been given this gift.
Ever.
Seriously, if I were to tell you now what he gave me, one- you
wouldn't believe me and then you would be really, really mad at
your husband, and then you would faint! I kid you not!! So, since
I love you and don't want you mad at your husband today, and I
worry about your health;) I can't tell you what it is right now!!!
(I want to get permission first;) But please, please stay tuned.....
I promise you (I even swear to you) you will NOT want to miss
this.
If I haven't made myself perfectly clear- this is an off the chart,
over the top, unimaginable, crazy-wonderful gift of a lifetime.
You have been so patient (well, most of you!) in waiting to hear what this extraordinary gift is, and now I can share
the birthday gift of a lifetime
with you.....

Tomorrow, I am having lunch with Bunny Williams.

here!

  7. I'm laughing so hard from Janet's comment, I can barely see. My guess was going to be immortality. But I guess I wasn't thinking big enough.

  19. I can not wait to hear how it went. What a fantastic birthday gift from DH, Congratulations. Hey, he moves up to the MOST fabulous DH ever.

I met Bunny and her DH at the Thomasville, GA antique show two years ago. She was one of the guest lecturers and I was NOT disappointed. She is FABULOUS!!!!! LOVE her books but "An Affair with a House" is certainly my favorite. That book gave me a renewed feeling of my own home of 30 years.

  22. All your comments are priceless...I'm laughing with you! I'm so excited for you and cannot wait to hear all the details. Honestly...the best part of her house for me...the dogs. Like Jen...(who is Miss. Awesomeness herself...:))I am going to pull my book off the coffee table today and open it up for another read. Course I do that several times a week anyway. Then I'm going to go find her pics on NYSD and check out her apartment again.

    Have fun Joan!!
