It bit expensive but the price worth it if compare with its quality. The difference in quality is staggering. Then it would be an vegetable oil with a thinner batter. Lower the heat as your pour the batter and they come through fairly easily. I did that once in an emergency and it had the kind of result it sounds like you enjoyed. And of course, all the other suggestions. <br />As for my iphone, it's the first time I did not have buyer's remorse. Ever. I love it. <br />Finally, I just started using cast iron, as that came highly recommended by your good blogger friend. How does All-Clad rate safety wise? A great app to find restaurants nearby is called Urbanspoon! You should definitely check it out!<br /><br />I'm also thrilled to see that you love All-Clad cookware! I see them all the time at my local TJ Maxx and have always wondered about the quality. I should have known since I've drooled over countless things at Williams Sonoma!
