  7. I have been sitting here reading page after page of your blog, it has been simply amazing and so enthralling to read. Decided I couldn't miss out on the progress and subscribed. Plus, since I live in CA, I get to see how the other part of the world lives :) Never, ever knew about the maple syrup and how it is made, that was so fascinating!

Since I found your blog, I have read it each day. I love your style and you have such a gift of decorating. I have so enjoyed seeing your rooms. Everything is so beautiful. Your home makes me feel like you felt looking at pictures of Bunny Williams home. I so wish I had your gift.

  33. Thanks for popping by! Aww..you were IN Swanzey! Why oh why do I live in a Chicago suburb when I could live there?? I seriously get a lump in my throat. We lived in a renovated sawmill. Where else but NH is that even a possibility? :) There was an abundance of third graders in the Monadnock Regional Elementary school when I was a little girl. Their solution? Put two of the classrooms in the old two room schoolhouse that hadn't been used in decades. I was one of the lucky ducks who attended school there. It was magical, and I'll never forget my days there...wandering through the pine tree forests, walking through the ancient cemetery just outside the school lot, and climbing Mt. Caesar right behind our school. Thanks for giving me a bit of nostalgia.
And Keene...love it. Our favorite places are closed...Henry David's was a spectacular restaurant on the main square. We did eat at Athen's Pizza last Summer....great pizza btw. Sigh. I'm still lobbying for a trip there this Summer, but it doesn't look like it will happen. I'm hoping to be there in 2012, but I think we have a family reunion to go to in CO. It's just not fair! Off to puruse your blog! :)
