LightKeeper Pro

Since it tis the season for giving I have put together a month of giveaways for YOU as a
thank you for following and reading the blog.  It's my way to say "thank you" and to let you know how much I appreciate your continued interest and support, and how grateful I am to those who take the time to leave comments.
It means so much to me to have you here.

And, on the seventh day.......
the Light Keeper Pro was invented!!!

I kid you not when I tell you this product is a Christmas miracle worker (not to mention a marriage saver;)!
Several days ago we unpacked all our Christmas lights only to be annoyed and frustrated trying to find that one bulb (or sometimes ten;)  that was causing all our light strands, lighted wreaths and lighted garlands to have so many outages.  I mentioned to Dan that maybe he could find some info online on how to repair them.  What he found was a video on the Light Keeper Pro.  We couldn't believe our eyes and went out that very day to buy one!
I  won't go into all the details, but basically (per the website) Light Keeper Pro finds the defective bulb shunts that cause most light set failures.  You simply plug the Light Keeper Pro into the light set and pull the trigger.  A pulse is sent through the light set finding the bad bulb, fixes the shunt which allows the light set to work properly.  (You can read more about how it works HERE.)
All you really need to know is that it is "magic"!
Watch the demonstration video HERE
While it comes with written instructions,  the videos are especially helpful, per Dan.  I never read the directions or watched the videos, and only watched Dan use it several and I was still able to pick it up and and fix some strands myself!
You will love this product!

(I realize this sounds like an infomercial, but I am not receiving any compensation from this company.  I just like to share my "favorite things"!  (HERE)

There is also a LED repair kit!

Continuing on the blog with the season of giving...
Light Keeper Pro has generously offered to giveaway THREE tools to
for the love of a house readers!
The 3 winners get to select their choice of the Light Keeper Pro for incandescent light sets or
the LED Keeper for LED lights.
To enter the giveaway simply leave a comment here on the blog- feel free to vent any and all frustrations with Christmas lights:)   If you're commenting as anonymous, please be sure to leave your email address- you can't win if I don't have an email for you.
The contest is open to U.S. and Canada only (sorry to all others.)
The giveaway will run for 3 days and will end on Wednesday, December 11th at 6 p.m.

You can find the Light Keeper Pro at these stores,
or at Amazon HERE or HERE .

This product is "green" in my book!  It makes me a little sick to my stomach when I think about all the light strands I have thrown away over the years thinking they were dead.  They probably all could have been saved if I had had the Light Keeper Pro.

Good luck!

The giveaway is now closed.

The LightKeeper Pro giveaway ended with 118 comments; however, three of those comments were responses to questions by LightKeeper Pro and two were email addresses that were forgotten in the original entry.  That left a total number of true entries at 113.
A random sequence generator chose the following entries.

The winners are:

Michelle
Debbie
LindaSonia

Congratulations!

Regarding the questions asked about pre-lit trees, LighKeeper Pro said that yes, the tool does work on pre-lit trees.
Also, if you have any questions after watching the videos, LightKeeper Pro has technicians available 7 days a week between Thanksgiving and Christmas to assist at their toll free number!

  4. I SO need this. Last night an entire strand of lights went out on my already decorated tree. I really don't want to un-decorate, pull the strand off, restring the lights, decorate again...you get the picture. Thanks for the chance to win one.

  5. Oh my goodness I want one of those. I have been holding on to several decorative wreaths that don't light anymore in the hopes that one day I could get them to work again. Perhaps this tool will do the trick. Thanks Joan!!

  10. Joan,
This is just what we need, our tree, after being decorated, had several bulbs go out. I've let it that way, not wanting to start over but if we could find the specific bulbs that are causing the problem, it would be a "miracle"...just in time for Christmas. :D

  16. Hello Joan, I think your next career should be as an advertising copyrighter--you can refer to this post for your portfolio.

I sure could have used this device when we had our huge Halloween parties, with innumerable strings of orange lights upstairs, and all green ones in the basement!

  27. I won't go into the gruesome details, but this year's Christmas tree light fiasco could have caused people to lose lives. This could possibly save my family from future raging light decorators. Not that IIIIII get angry about them, or anything. :)

  28. Lights are the woe in my Christmas. I've already had to untangle one strand of lights and replace them with another set on an already decorated tree!! Not FUN!!

  32. Ooh...sign me up! Hubby went to put up our icicle lights the other day and wouldn't ya know...only about half of them worked. So we literally have lights dangling off our roof right now. Told him to take them down ASAP since it looks like we're total white trash. Maybe this will solve all our problems! ;)

  33. I stopped putting up lights after my painter brother pulled out all the nails and caulked up the holes.

    1. We prioritize in keeping your holidays bright, but attempt to assist wherever we can when it comes to safety and decorating! We know that there are clips sold at most major retailers that have seasonal sections that might convince you to hang lights from the roof again! I believe removable clips are available for indoor as well.

  40. UGH! Where was this a few days ago when I had four strands of partially lit lights and one full set out? :P One set went to the dump. The others are going to be bunched in greenery where it won't be noticeable. I ended up using the old looking colored lights on my tree. I'm kinda a "white" gal and I bought them a few years ago but just couldn't get into the color but I am enjoying them this year and am adding color elsewhere too. Off to get one of these!! Thanks for telling us about it and for the links. :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. I can't believe it! it's been done?? "green" yes!! please!! I abhor throwing away light strands when I just know there is a simple solution...! If this works, I do want one, I use lots of light strands all through the year not just Christmas, I keep them light on my fireplace mantle and use lots of white ones for Xmas Trees.....this would be cool if it worked! Thanks for the opportunity! blessings, lady.

I can't believe that I'm reading this post about fixing lights. It is about 11:30 in MI right now. I put my kids to bed at 8, folded laundry, and at 10 I decided that it was "now or never" to haul out the tree. The prelit tree. GORGEOUS one that I bought at Costco, and has never failed me. Until tonight. SO MANY BRANCHES NOT LIGHTING. I am so bummed. There was no AHHHH moment was I was done fluffing and bending every branch. The entire top section is out. I was deflated, ready to go to bed, and google series lighting in the morning. But before bed I decided I would quickly check a few blogs. And this is what I see!! I can't believe it. To be honest, I don't care if I win it or not, I'm going to get onE regardless. You just saved Christmas for me!! THANK YOU!!
