ReplyDeleteI really, really enjoy your blog and when I read no other, I always read yours. Like you, I love animals, but especially dogs. I have four rescues of my own. They bring such joy. As far as I am concerned, there is a reason dog is God spelled backwards. They are a real time example of eternal love!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too! I think I am one who tried to leave a calling card and it didn't "take"...I can never figure out the eccentricities of posting! I did want to say thank you for your earlier posting about the Denham Springs, LA Animal Shelter. I am sure you followed the amazing story of contributions from all over the country. That was such a gratifying response. My late rescue dog, Tilly, looked so much like your girls but with not quite so much white on her chest. I "took her in temporarily" to help a friend who had "found her" on a busy highway but who also had travel plans with no one to take care of the new baby. The temporary baby sitting arrangement lasted fourteen years..still miss her. All the best for 2017 from MS.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog, we did the same thing with an 1835 farmhouse that was falling down around itself! Love your decorating style - elegant and livable. I also assist several dog rescues down south, we hold adoption events here in CT frequently for dogs who were destined for Death Row until their rescues pulled them. One of my three dogs was found on death row in Georgia!
