Thank you so very much Brooke for mentioning my house blog on Velvet & Linen yesterday! What an honor to be mentioned on such a beautiful interior design blog! And 'welcome' to all of Brooke's readers. Two days ago I had no idea that today people from all over the globe would be looking at my house project in New Hampshire! What a special treat and honor it is for us to have you here!

I'm so excited to have found your blog! I lived in Durham, NH for 6 years and left when I was 15. I'm 42 and still dream of going back. I live in the South now and although I love it...NH will always hold a special place in my heart. Fall especially...I remember driving through the White Mountains and stopping along the way to buy hot apple cider from roadside vendors. The apple smell in the air was unforgettable.
ReplyDeleteYour new home is fantastic...just looking at the pictures made my pulse race! I look forward to checking in and seeing all the new things you have planned.
Nice to meet you...you are living my dream! :)
beautiful house, can't wait to follow you in your journey. would be fun to know more about life in your small town too! the movie theater sounds divine!
ReplyDeleteSarah- How nice to meet you too! And thank you for your sweet comment. I'm really happy to have you here with us and I'll try to post more NH pictures to make your heart happy! Would love to know where in the South you are?!
ReplyDeletethe sweet life with olives- Wow, I can't tell you how fun it is knowing that we have someone in Italy looking at our house project! I love the suggestion of more 'life in our small town' stories, I'll definitely do that, thanks!!
It's great to have you both here!

Congratulations for the well deserved recognition Joan!
ReplyDeleteI love Brooke's blog, and now I'm enjoying yours!
ReplyDeleteI was a transplanted Texan in Western PA a few years ago. I loved everything about it except when the calendar said it was spring, and spring was still a couple months away up there.
I'm looking forward to seeing your home's progress, and I'll be adding you to my blog list, too.
Thank you Mari!
ReplyDeleteAnd Welcome Sandra! I did 'notice' that Spring was a bit delayed here!! Right now we're trying to adjust to dusk at 4:30 and dark at 5pm! Happy to have you along!
